8 Mid-Atlantic Builders, Inc. Presents “Offer of a Lifetime” Event to the Home Buyers

MID-ATLANTIC BUILDERS, INC. PRESENTS “OFFER OF A LIFETIME” EVENT TO HOME BUYERS

Purchasers Make Their Own Offers and Move into New Homes Immediately

WASHINGTON, D.C., February 11, 2008 — Mid-Atlantic Builders, Inc. (“Mid-Atlantic”) is unveiling the “Offer of a Lifetime” event, which allows buyers to make an offer on a home available for immediate delivery.   These homes offer the same award-winning quality, value and design as Mid-Atlantic’s built-to-order homes with the distinct advantage that buyers get to move in right away.

Home Buying Just Became Easier

Mid-Atlantic is making the home buying process easier and more cost effective for their customers by giving them the opportunity to make their most reasonable offer on a home of their choice.  The process to make an offer is simple; a purchaser must fill out an Offer of a Lifetime Application and an Offer of a Lifetime Personal Information Sheet.  “This truly is a ‘once-in-a-lifetime’ opportunity for homebuyers to purchase the home of their dreams and enjoy it right away,” said John J. Lavery, Mid-Atlantic’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing.  “Each of the homes included in our offer program are of the same high quality and innovative design that Mid-Atlantic customers have come to expect, however, with the Offer of Lifetime event, Mid-Atlantic is giving its customers more control in their home buying process and greater opportunity to save costs.” Mr. Lavery went on to add, “Perhaps the most telling sign that the Offer of a Lifetime event is a unique opportunity in today’s market is the program’s success rate.  Within three weeks of implementing the program, Mid-Atlantic Builders sold 25% of the homes available, each one sold to excited purchasers who made their own offer either online or with a Sales Counselor.”

All Offers Are Considered

Anyone is eligible to make an offer on one of Mid-Atlantic’s homes available for immediate delivery.  There is at least one home available in each of Mid-Atlantic’s communities, including Woodmore North, Ashleigh Station and Fairwood in Bowie, Meadow Creek and Beechtree in Upper Marlboro, and Timber Ridge in Clinton. It is likely that multiple offers will continue to be made on each home, so it is important for buyers to understand what Mid-Atlantic looks for when evaluating its most credible offer.  Characteristics of a strong offer include the offer amount, the financial capability of each homeowner as represented on the purchaser’s Offer of a Lifetime Personal Information Sheet, the customer’s settlement timeframe, and the terms and conditions as shown on the buyer’s Offer of a Lifetime Application.

Purchasing Your New Home During The Offer of a Lifetime Event

Making an offer on one of Mid-Atlantic’s home available for immediate delivery is simple.  Once a purchaser has chosen their dream home, they must fill out an Offer of a Lifetime Application and an Offer of a Lifetime Personal Information Sheet.  Once both are submitted to Mid-Atlantic for further processing, the buyer’s offer will be considered and if accepted, the buyer will be notified within two business days.  Once accepted, the buyer then has two business days to complete a Purchase Agreement.  If the offer is not accepted by Mid-Atlantic, then the purchaser still has an opportunity to make a new offer if they desire, as long as the home has not since been sold to another customer.
