The past week has brought an abundance of exciting news. We are proud to announce that yesterday we sold our beautiful Windsor model at The Villages of Savannah in Brandywine. Recently, the leadership team of Mid-Atlantic Builders attended the spring National Association of Home Builders “20 Club Program” conference in Vancouver, Canada. Known also as the “Builder 20 Club”, this networking event brings together builders from all across the United States and Canada from non-competing markets, giving them an opportunity to share ideas in marketing, construction, design, and customer care.
The Builder 20 Club is comprised of a prestigious mix of builders who individually have been honored with numerous awards, in large part due to the wisdom and advice each has received from their peers which has helped strengthen their business operations. An active Builder 20 member since 1995, Mid‑Atlantic’s affiliation with the Club has helped us attain Builder Magazine’s America’s Best Builder recognition and dozens of awards from our local building industry association, including many Builder of the Year accolades. Builder 20 Club members are regarded as leaders in their markets, and each conference also provides updates on new design trends that we can offer to our customers.
Upon his return to Maryland from the Vancouver meeting, Mid-Atlantic’s president, Roger Lebbin, commented, “These conferences help our company learn the best practices from some of the best builders in Canada and the United States, and give us a competitive advantage over local builders who do not participate in these special, invitation-only events.”

Something new and exciting is coming to the Beechtree community this summer! In addition to having the beautiful clubhouse and the golf course in your backyard, by the end of the summer you will be able to enjoy a dip in the pool!
The Club will feature several new conveniences for the use of residents. In addition to the pool, there will also be a fitness center, children’s pool, racquetball court, and meeting/party room. All of these will have controlled access for residents only.

Over the years, Mid-Atlantic Builders has been acknowledged as an industry leader for our design trends and our energy-efficiency innovations. Recently we were recognized again in BUILDER magazine as one of only three builders from across the country chosen to partake in an article about efficiency and design improvements.
Our Executive Vice President, Stephen Paul, was interviewed about a variety of innovations that Mid-Atlantic has introduced over the past year, some of which resulted from our customers’ requests. We’ve added an optional guest suite design to all of our floorplans to accommodate their multi-generational housing needs. We introduced a new family gourmet kitchen that features a large work island often used as a household gathering place. We have also started constructing all of our homes under our Energy$mart program. This program not only meets the standards of Energy Star, it substantially surpasses them. We include spray foam under the floor joints at the exterior ban board of every house in order to protect the interior from drafts. And we also include 95%-efficient HVAC systems that are customized for each home we build. These are only two of the many energy-efficient designs we have under our Energy$mart program.
We look forward to further refining our products over the next year and thank BUILDER magazine for their recognition and the honor of being chosen for the article. And, we thank our customers for their valuable input and feedback that helps us design better homes.
