Here at Mid-Atlantic Builders, we pride ourselves on the quality, customization and energy-efficiency of our product. We take the time to find the best products possible and engineer everything that we do to save our customers money and make them as comfortable as possible in their new home.
Mid-Atlantic Builders was recognized by the Southern Maryland Electric Cooperative (SMECO) for building the Most Energy Efficient Home in 2015 at a recent event highlighting the achievements of local builders in Southern Maryland. The recognition was given to one of our homes built in The Villages of Savannah community, which had an estimated savings of 7.4 megawatt-hours (MWh) per year. That translates into saving the customer an estimated $1,000 in annual energy savings!
This serves as a constant reminder to pay attention to the quality of a new home versus the price tag. A new home is a significant long-term investment and eventually the energy bill will show what goes on behind the exterior façade.
We are honored that SMECO would recognize us with such a prestigious award and are humbled by the recognition of our product.
