This award is a testament to the hard work of each member of the Mid-Atlantic family. It is based on the builder’s onsite management, scheduling, supervision, quality control, and ethics, and we are proud that our friends and peers believe that we excel in each while continuing to uphold our high standards for our customers. A special thank you goes out to Kathy Bartlett, Jing Ni, Joe Winovich, Christina Sears, Carolyn Taylor, Margarete Mackey, Linda Whitiak, Debbie Vendemmia, Tracy Bullard, John Dorsey, Joe Lucado, Erika Luedtke, Rock Harvey, and Trevor Webb, for without your contribution this award would not have been possible.

MNCBIA held the annual Awards evening on October 20th at the Greenbelt Marriott, and we were pleased that Roger Lebbin, Bob Hurst, Marc Shutta, Joe Winovich, Ray Halleran and Trevor Webb were on hand as Mid-Atlantic’s representatives to accept the Builder of the Year honor. It was a great night!

This year’s selection was announced last Thursday, October 28, 2010, at an industry-wide gala held at the Greenbelt Marriott. The association based its decision on each candidate’s attentiveness to scheduling, supervision, engineering, quality control and ethics. Roger Lebbin, President of Mid-Atlantic Builders, was on hand to accept the award. “It is always special to be recognized for the work you do, but to receive that honor from your colleagues and friends is particularly meaningful.”

Mid-Atlantic Builders has been honored eight times as MNCBIA Builder of the Year and was the National Association of Homebuilders and Builder Magazine’s 2006 pick for America’s Best Builder. This is the first time Mid-Atlantic Builders has been recognized as Community Developer of the Year.
